SBS Wellfit Advantage Added to Benefit Advisors Network Platform
Cleveland, OH, February 4, 2010— Benefit Advisors Network (BAN) announced today that as part of its Alliance Partnership Program, three of its member firms (known as Smart Partners®) will provide customized services and solutions that other BAN Smart Partners can market, sell, or distribute in their respective marketplaces.
BAN Director Deane Elek explains, “Benefit Advisors Network has leveraged the unique capabilities of three of our Smart Partners to offer proprietary services to BAN members under exclusive arrangements.” Strategic Benefit Solutions in Atlanta, GA delivers Wellfit Advantage wellness programs and health management. CPI-HR in Cleveland, OH offers payroll and benefits administration. And, Progressive Benefit Solutions in Raleigh, NC provides actuarial services.
According to Elek, this represents a winning strategy for clients, Smart Partners, and the three member firms who have been designated as “platform agencies” in BAN’s Alliance Partnership Program.
“Clients win because they benefit from the exclusive pricing, products and/or services,” says Elek. “Other Smart Partners win as they partner with these platform agencies to provide unique solutions to their clients. And, the platform agencies win as they increase market share and revenue by offering their solution to Smart Partners.”
Under the arrangement, Strategic Benefit Solutions, will offer their proprietary wellness services through WellFit Advantage, LLC. SBS also provides BAN members with a wellness director, a claims analytics medical professional, and easily implemented wellness programs for their clients. BAN firms can use WellFit for vendor sourcing, proposals and program development.
Progressive Benefit Solutions provides actuarial expertise to Benefit Advisors Network Smart Partners - providing a high level of industry knowledge and analytics to self funded as well as fully insured cases.
Finally, CPI-HR offers comprehensive payroll processing, a full HR suite of services, and benefits administration (such as FSA and HRA processing). It also handles sales, implementation, and ongoing support for companies leveraging their solutions. The three platform agencies join four national insurance carriers as well as numerous other insurance industry vendors as part of BAN’s Alliance Partnership Program (APP).
“We have been selective about who we bring into our Alliance Partnership Program. The vendors, carriers and platform agencies we have contracted with bring pricing advantages and product differentiation through a full array of resources and solutions. They can be tailored to meet specific client needs while helping members to create exclusive marketing solutions to differentiate themselves in their marketplace,” notes Elek. Benefit Advisors Network is the premier national network of independent benefit advisory and consulting companies. BAN’s Smart Partners are widely regarded as the ‘best of the best’ in their respective markets. Unlike many other industry organizations,
Benefit Advisors Network only selects one firm per market or market segment to join the organization. That unique structure and philosophy allow members to share best practices, unencumbered by concern about the presence of their competitors. Recent studies show this unique collaboration results in Benefit Advisors Network members producing 65% higher revenues per employee than their peers.
