Sean joined SBS in 2004 after a 14 year career with a national carrier. Sean is charged with building SBS’s client base and ensuring that current clients are deriving superior value from our services.
Over the course of his career, Sean has acquired extensive knowledge of the group benefits marketplace. His expertise covers network discount analysis, managed care plans, provider contracting, alternative funding mechanisms, stop loss contracts, claims administration and analysis, Flexible Benefit Plans (FBP), 401(k) Plans, and Population Health Management plans. While on the carrier side he had the opportunity to work with a variety of businesses and broker/consultants. This exposure gave him insight into the needs of benefit managers and gave him a first-hand view of the challenges organizations face in identifying and implementing strategic cost mitigation strategies.
Sean’s decision to join Strategic Benefit Solutions was the direct result of this exposure and his desire to provide a higher level of service and expertise to employers, as well as contribute to the overall growth and success of Strategic Benefit Solutions.
He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Business School with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance.
